THE HERITAGE TIMELINE

Unearthing a centuries-old spice legacy.

THE DEEP ORIGINS

From the ancient port of Muziris to your kitchen.

Ancient Muziris was the epicenter of the global spice trade, where Roman, Phoenician, and Arab ships sailed across the oceans to obtain Malabar cardamom and black pepper.

For over two millennia, the unique volcanic soil and coastal monsoon rain cycles of south-western India created the most intense botanical flavors ever tasted. We founded TLB to honor and reclaim this legacy, bringing these ancient, unaltered heirloom varieties to modern tables.
